Цифровые технологии влияют на все сферы жизни общества, что, очевидно, меняет и систему образования, ее особенности, а также подходы и методы обучения студентов вузов. Современное высшее образование переходит к использованию цифровых технологий под влиянием развития науки и техники, поддерживая как процесс обучения, так и всех субъектов образования. Растущая вовлеченность людей в цифровые технологии влияет на обыденность, становится частью повседневных коммуникаций, вызывая при этом не только новые возможности, но и риски. В статье осуществлен анализ функционирования цифровых технологий в образовательном процессе с целью выделения наиболее актуальных из них, определения их преимуществ, которые необходимо учитывать при внедрении в образовательную среду. Для достижения поставленной цели был использован метод теоретического анализа и обобщения научной литературы. Совершен исторический экскурс применения предшествующих информационных технологий в образовательном процессе. Приводятся наиболее актуальные цифровые технологии на сегодняшний день, рассматриваются их возможности, риски и перспективы использования в образовании. Отражены преимущества, недостатки цифровизации образования. Полученные результаты показывают, что необходимо пробовать новые цифровые инструменты для обучения. Обзор появления цифровых технологий в образовании и их перспектив подтверждают важность их применения в образовательном процессе.
Digital technologies affect all spheres of society, which obviously changes the higher education system, its features, as well as methods and approaches to designing professional development and formation of students. Modern higher education is being transformed and transitioning to the use of digital technologies under the influence of the development of science and technology, supporting both learning processes and all subjects of education. The growing involvement of people in the digital economy affects all aspects of life — personal, professional, and becomes part of everyday communications, while causing not only new opportunities, but also risks. The article presents the results of the analysis of the functioning of digital technologies in the modern educational process of the university. The historical aspect of the introduction of pre–computer era technical devices first, then the use of computer technology in educational institutions, then information technology and the Internet, and the transition to digital resources is studied. The most relevant digital technologies for today are presented — artificial intelligence technologies, virtual and augmented reality, gamification, mobile applications, their possibilities, risks and prospects of use in education are considered. The main research methods in the authors' work were the method of theoretical analysis and generalization of scientific, methodological literature, conclusions of pedagogical discourse. The main results of the research work presented in this article are conclusions about the advantages and disadvantages of digitalization of higher education, the rationale for the need to try new digital technologies and services in education to determine the prospects for their application in the educational process.
