Возрастающие требования к уровню профессиональной и межкультурной компетентности выпускников высших учебных заведений в условиях глобализации и международного делового взаимодействия актуализируют вопрос повышения эффективности обучения иностранным языкам. Статья посвящена анализу феномена вторичной языковой личности в контексте обучения иностранному языку студентов финансово-экономического профиля как главной цели и результата иноязычной подготовки. В работе рассматриваются основные теоретические подходы к понятию языковой и вторичной языковой личности и особенностей их формирования, а также анализируется их структурная организация. Особое внимание уделяется вопросу структуры вторичной языковой личности, соотнесённой с уровнями языковой личности Ю.Н. Караулова и представленной на четырех уровнях с расширенным тезаурусом, отражающим усвоение иноязычной картины мира и сопоставление с реалиями родного языка. Эмпирическая часть исследования основана на результатах авторского анкетирования студентов-бакалавров финансово-экономического профиля Финансового университета при Правительстве Российской Федерации и направлена на выявление характерных черт их языковой и вторичной языковой личности, включая особенности речевого поведения и стратегии иноязычной профессиональной коммуникации. Полученные данные позволили выявить как проблемные зоны речевого развития, так и факторы, способствующие формированию коммуникативной гибкости и снижению языковой тревожности. По результатам анализа данных в статье формируются педагогические импликации по комплексному методу обучения иностранному языку в высшей школе.
The increasing demands on the level of professional and intercultural competence of higher educational institutions graduates in the context of globalization and international business interaction actualise the issue of improving the effectiveness of teaching foreign languages. The article is devoted to the analysis of the secondary linguistic personality phenomenon in the context of teaching a foreign language to students of a financial and economic specialisation as the main goal and result of foreign language training. The paper examines the main theoretical approaches to defining the concept of linguistic and secondary linguistic personality and the features of their formation, as well as analyses their structural organisation. Special attention is paid to the issue of the structure of the secondary linguistic personality, correlated with the levels of the linguistic personality model developed by Y.N. Karaulov, which is presented on four levels with an expanded thesaurus reflecting the assimilation of a foreign language worldview and comparison with the native language realities. The empirical part of the study is based on the results of the author’s survey of undergraduate students of the financial and economic profile of the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation and is aimed at identifying the characteristic features of their linguistic and secondary linguistic personality, including their speech behavior and strategies of professional communication in a foreign language. The data obtained made it possible to identify both problem areas of speech development and factors contributing to the communicative flexibility formation and reduction of linguistic anxiety. Based on the results of the data analysis, the article presents pedagogical implications for a comprehensive method of teaching foreign languages in higher education.
