Данное исследование посвящено изучению проблемы межкультурной адаптации иностранных студентов к обучению в высших учебных заведениях нашей страны. Иностранные обучающиеся сложно адаптируются к инокультурной среде, что связано с культурными различиями, сложностями самоопределения, профессионального становления, увеличившимися учебными нагрузками, коммуникативными и бытовыми трудностями. Наличие сложностей в коммуникации, чувства своей некомпетентности и беспомощности в различных ситуациях общения и взаимодействия в образовательной среде высшего учебного заведения могут приводить к разного рода проявлениям агрессивного отношения к другим обучающимся, что неблагоприятно сказывается на гармонизации межличностной коммуникации студентов. В статье представлен теоретический анализ проблемы межкультурной адаптации иностранных студентов как психологического феномена с позиции процесса и результата взаимодействия личности с новым для нее социальным и культурным пространством для эффективного профессионального развития, достижения психологического комфорта. Основной целью анализа выступает определение отдельных аспектов изучения социально-психологической дезадаптации, стратегий преодоления стресса аккультурации, наиболее перспективных направлений межкультурной адаптации иностранных студентов, основных факторов, обусловливающих эффективность процесса межкультурной адаптации иностранных студентов. Методами исследования выступили обобщение, классификация фактов теоретической научной отечественной и зарубежной литературы и эмпирических исследований. В статье делается вывод о важности оптимизации процесса межкультурной адаптации иностранных студентов путем создания вузом определенных условий, способствующих эффективной адаптации иностранных студентов на основе развития не только профессиональных компетенций, но и личностного совершенствования, эмоциональной устойчивости, реализации социальной позиции толерантного поведения и коммуникации.
This study is devoted to studying the problem of intercultural adaptation of foreign students to study in higher educational institutions of our country. Foreign students find it difficult to adapt to a foreign cultural environment, which is associated with cultural differences, difficulties in self-determination, professional development, increased study loads, communication and everyday difficulties. The presence of difficulties in communication, feelings of incompetence and helplessness in various situations of communication and interaction in the educational environment of a higher educational institution can lead to various kinds of manifestations of aggressive attitudes towards other students, which adversely affects the harmonization of interpersonal communication of students. The article presents a theoretical analysis of the problem of intercultural adaptation of foreign students as a psychological phenomenon from the perspective of the process and result of an individual’s interaction with a new social and cultural space for effective professional development and achieving psychological comfort. The main goal of the analysis is to determine individual aspects of the study of socio-psychological maladaptation, strategies for overcoming acculturation stress, the most promising directions for intercultural adaptation of foreign students, and the main factors determining the effectiveness of the process of intercultural adaptation of foreign students. The research methods were generalization, classification of facts from theoretical scientific domestic and foreign literature and empirical research. The article draws a conclusion about the importance of optimizing the process of intercultural adaptation of foreign students by creating certain conditions at the university that contribute to the effective adaptation of foreign students based on the development of not only professional competencies, but also personal improvement, emotional stability, implementation of the social position of tolerant behavior and communication.
