В статье описываются результаты исследования половых особенностей взаимосвязи интеллекта и тревожности у старших подростков. Рассмотрены различные исследования, раскрывающие и объясняющие взаимосвязь интеллекта и тревожности. Продемонстрирована противоречивость представленных в психологической науке данных о взаимосвязи интеллекта и тревожности. В работе проводится эмпирическое исследование взаимосвязи интеллекта и тревожности у мальчиков и девочек старших подростков. Описываются половые особенности проявления интеллектуальных способностей и тревожности у старших подростков. Раскрываются половые особенности структуры интеллектуальных способностей у старших подростков. Гипотезы исследования: преимущественно взаимосвязь интеллектуальных способностей и тревожности у старших подростков имеет нелинейных характер, представлена в виде квадратичной функции; характер взаимосвязи интеллекта и тревожности связан со структурными особенностями интеллекта старших подростков. Выборка: 34 респондента в возрасте 14–17 лет; 18 мальчиков и 16 девочек. Методики: «Шкала тревожности» Ч. Спилбергера (адаптировано на русский Ю.Л. Ханиным); «Тест структуры интеллекта» Р. Амтхауэра (адаптирован Е.Е. Туник, 2009). Математико-статистические методы: метод корреляции по непараметрическому критерию Спирмена; метод подгонки кривых. Эмпирическим путем показано, что у мальчиков старших подростков уровни общих интеллектуальных способностей, вербально-индуктивных способностей и мнемических способностей нелинейно связаны с личностной тревожностью, связи приобретают вид квадратичной функции; у девочек пространственно-аналитические способности нелинейно связаны с личностной тревожностью, связь приобретает вид квадратичной функции. Предполагается, что нелинейность связей между интеллектом и тревожностью служит показателем неэффективности интеллектуальной деятельности, обусловленной как низким развитием способностей, так и нарушениями в структуре интеллектуальных способностей.
In the paper describes the results of the research of the sexual characteristics of the relationship between intelligence and anxiety in adolescents. Various studies that reveal and explain the relationship between intelligence and anxiety are considered. The inconsistency of the data presented in psychological science on the relationship between intelligence and anxiety is demonstrated. The paper provides an empirical study of the relationship between intelligence and anxiety in boys and girls of adolescents. The sexual characteristics of the manifestation of intellectual abilities and anxiety in adolescents are described. The sexual characteristics of the structure of intellectual abilities in adolescents are revealed. Research hypotheses: the relationship between intellectual abilities and anxiety in adolescents is mainly nonlinear, represented as a quadratic function; the nature of the relationship between intelligence and anxiety is related to the structural features of the intelligence of adolescents. Sample: 34 respondents aged 14–17 years; 18 boys and 16 girls. Methods: «State-Trait Anxiety Inventory» (adapted into Russian by Y.L. Khanin); «Amthauer Intelligenz-Struktur-Test» (adapted by E.E. Tunik, 2009). Mathematical and statistical methods: correlation method according to the nonparametric Spearman criterion; curve fitting method. It has been empirically shown that in adolescent boys, the levels of general intellectual abilities, verbal-inductive abilities and mnemonic abilities are non-linearly related to personal anxiety, connections take the form of a quadratic function; in girls, spatial-analytical abilities are non-linearly related to personal anxiety, communication takes the form of a quadratic function. It is assumed that the non-linearity of the links between intelligence and anxiety is an indicator of the inefficiency of intellectual activity due to both low development of abilities and impairments in the structure of intellectual abilities.
