The article discusses the conditions and factors that determine the effectiveness of the language training of undergraduates of engineering specialties and the transformation of the proposed conditions and factors in the distance learning space. The authors of the article set out to identify and clarify the need to transform the conditions and factors that influence the successful mastering of the material during the language training of students of the Master's degree in engineering in the distance learning space. The authors of the article summarize modern scientific works in the field of conditions and factors of language training, taking into account digital didactics. The proposed article summarizes and systematizes the conditions and factors of teaching foreign languages in the traditional format of education, taking into account their division into groups: socio-economic;
socio-political; socio-pedagogical; socio-cultural; methodological; personal. The aim of the empirical part of the study was to identify the most significant conditions and factors for graduate students, taking into account the peculiarities of online learning. Based on the analysis of the results of a survey of 45 graduate students of engineering majors who are studying remotely and comparing them with the academic performance of undergraduates of engineering majors who are studying in different formats. In the course of the research work, a number of conditions and factors of success in distance learning of a foreign language for master's degree students of engineering specialties were identified. In this study, to determine the effectiveness of teaching a foreign language in a distance format to undergraduates of engineering specialties, a methodology was used to assess students' satisfaction with the learning process and their ranking of the conditions and factors of learning that are of the greatest importance to them. For this purpose, a survey and a questionnaire were conducted. In further studies, it is possible to use other techniques to obtain a more complete and objective picture.
